Design. I designed this user interface in 2014, as an exercise in an Adobe Illustrator class. The design reflects my love of both radios and color theory.

iPad. The user interface is designed to run on iPad and larger screens. The app is not so useful on iPhone or very small screens.

Color Model. While other tools use the RGB or HSV color model, this one uses a Red-Yellow-Blue (RYB) color model, which keeps yellow and violet as complementary colors, orange and blue, and red and green. This model is favored by paint artists.

Implementation. My attempt to implement it in HTML5 Canvas in 2015 was a failure. This implementation is SVG.

How to use it.

• Move the needles on the dial.
• Save color schemes and retrieve them later.
• Click on a color swatch to alter saturation or lightness.
